Hello and welcome to my wonderful, lovely readers [or subscribers?], hope you are all keeping cool during our wonderful [ok occasionally wet] summer, fantastic, eh?
Now I will admit that I am a bit of a technophobe and I stumbled [literary] across the stats at the back of this newsletter we have with Mailchimp, it says in typical American fashion that the average read factor of their newsletters is 18.9% - well, apparently our newsletter along with your fantastic help is tracking a read factor of 21.7% - or does that mean we only have 21.9 readers?? Seriously though that means we are beating the odds, not sure how or what we have done right, but I’ll not argue and offer a very big thank you for your support!
Now talking about getting things right we listen to comments – preferably the polite ones.. and some have said that the newsletter have been getting longer and longer as I try and squeeze in too much, well we are going to try something different with a link/video on a horror story from the Electrical Testing world or in this case a truly daft story from the files of the Health and Safety Executive [HSE]. It’s done in a “once upon a time” style and the quality should improve as time goes on. Let me know what you think about it, I hope you like it?
We at ME PAT Services are constantly looking for ways to increase our reach with new clients and ways to improve our image [when we can afford to that is..] and we have taken the next stage in rolling out the new logo which was unveiled on the new website in January and soon after at the top of this newsletter. We just have taken delivery of our new polo T-Shirts and doesn't the logo look good? Makes us look dead professional eh? So keep an eye out for the “new image” polo’s.
In my intro earlier I said that from time to time we will try out new ideas and this is an experiment with mini vids on the dangers of electrical safety in the workplace or in this case an occasional story sent to us on the “mis-use” of “Health and Safety”….
Oh by the way these mini vids will from now on be called “Tales from the Fry” after our own colourful, adopted cartoon character… so here we go, please click on the link above the picture..
Tales from the “Fry”
Newcastle Old and New: the story so far?
As many will know I have been working on relaunching a long held dream – 38 years to be exact, to self-publish a school project book which was my saviour from a failed education. Some will also know I have launched a second newsletter to detail this project further so I will be brief. Last month we put together a crowdfund application to help seek investors and raise funds to help with this project, we have pre sold six books and a special “business investor package”. To find out more please follow the link to: http://igg.me/at/Newcastle-Old-and-New-Story-So-Far
Incidentally as a special message to my business clients and subscribers there are special offers with this campaign in return for investment such as; a signed book for £20, with your name or your company inside the book for £25 or even as a business investor package with your company logo in every book “forever” for only £70 – and you get a book to! Have a look as soon as you can as these are limited time offers..
Finally if there is any more information I can give you about ME PAT Services or the book project Newcastle Old and New - the story so far? Please email me firstname.lastname@example.org or phone me direct via 07865 923 716, naturally I would be more than happy to help
Ta ta for now,
Have a great day, week and a fab month!!
